What is the different between reflection and refraction?

I have been confused lately with reflection and refraction. Are they the same thing? I did look at some example online but still didn't get it.

My understanding of reflection is when you see an object reflect onto water or glass. Refraction seems to be the same... haha... no idea....

Reflections are a copy of an object (think of an image in a mirror) so you'll be seeing a copy of the object as well as the original. Refractions are still the original object but the object looks distorted due to the water/glass/etc.

It's due to the light slowing slightly in the water or glass and bending. :D

Reflection is light bouncing off a surface before entering into your eye,/camera (murror) refraction is light bending as it travels through a substance (magnifying glass) and then bering seen
