I like this photo because it is the sum of loving presents from young people that I love and who have some affection and respect for me. Orchids and a prime 50 mm lens for my retirement at the beginning of November
Hoping I am not jinxing this. I liked this when I saw and took it, now with a slightly different edit and printing on a water coloured type paper, and properly mounted I think it looks really nice. Out canoeing in the summer, with my camera I met a camera club judge, on her barge. I told her I was looking for interesting shots, she said " you can't make barges look interesting ". I am hoping the camera club judge tonight thinks differently.

I’ve been trying to get back into finding interesting shots in everyday objects like I used to, and this turned out better than I expected.
The Christmas season is upon us!!!
