How to find Photo's that were on PP?

December 5th, 2017
Hi everyone, is there any way to find one's shots that made the PP? Is there also a possibility to copy and save them on the PC? In the beginning I used to delete the photo's I had posted to avoid a re post. I never anticipated getting on the PP. Now I regret it and would like to have them back. Thanks in advance :-)

Just type in your username instead of the capital letters at the end. That should take you there.

@vera365 Thanks so much Vera, you are a star! Any idea how I can copy and save to my hard drive ;-)

@ludwigsdiana I am just curious - do you delete your photos from your hard drive once you have posted them on 365?

if you right click on each image Diana it will bring up the option to save a thumbnail or if you view each image by tapping twice it will take you to the image day where you can right click to save a bigger one. While you are doing this you could also add a tag such as pp-diana so you and others can visit quickly on here, although this could take you some time :)

@ludwigsdiana I keep a folder of any that made the popular, trending or finalist in a comp. Last year I made a phonebook of those which made it. Doing the same for this year.

@annied Unfortunately yes Annie, this was all a first for me and I thought I don't need them anymore. Never thought they would get anywhere and was not even aware of the PP 😉

@suzanne234 That is very helpful Suzanne, thanks. I am new to this, where does it get saved to? On 365 or on my hard drive? Thanks a mill 💐

@yorkshirekiwi That is so clever Carole, a fab idea 😀

@ludwigsdiana should have read photo book not phone book

@ludwigsdiana after right clicking it will come up with a menu, choose save picture as and then you can highlight a file or your desktop and work from there, once you have chosen the location it should save each one there. I work in windows 10, I'm not sure how others work, hope this helps Diana :)

@suzanne234 Thanks a lot Suzanne, I just tried and it works! Bless you 🥂

@ludwigsdiana Yay, blimey, it's not too often I'm helpful :) Another thought, if you wish, is you could add Alexis's link that Vera supplied to your bio for yours and visitors quick reference
December 5th, 2017
@suzanne234 You've been brilliant Suzanne, now you just have to tell me how to add the link please 😀
December 5th, 2017
@ludwigsdiana Probably the easiest way is whilst you are on the link showing your pp photos, right click on the https address in the search bar, click copy then right click and paste when editing your bio. Any new photos that get on the pp page will update on it. Its a fab little feature isn't it.
I'm not sure if i'm teaching you how to suck eggs here but if ever you have anything that may interest people on one of your photos that you've seen on the web, you can add the link to it by copying and pasting the web page address as I've just described.
Oh I do hope I'm making sense to you, I know what I mean! :)

@suzanne234 You sure know your way around Suzanne, I owe you! When are you coming to visit 😉
December 5th, 2017
I saved my PP link in my profile
December 5th, 2017
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thanks Jackie, I wish I knew how to do that. You are all used to working with a pc which I am not. Fortunately my daughter is coming from London for the holidays and can help 😉

@ludwigsdiana Haha, now let me think, your in South Africa, surrounded by beautiful scenery, amazing wildlife, and you live on a wine estate...I can be there tomorrow :) Another way of getting your pp link on is left click and move your mouse to highlight the link that Vera gave you (the one with your name on the end), then right click to copy and paste into your profile information you have written :)

@suzanne234
thanks so much Suzanne, you've been a star! You have it all right, except that I do not live on a wine estate, I live on a security estate surrounded by wine estates. More choices ;-)

@vera365 Hi Vera, Is there a similar link to view your trending photos.
December 6th, 2017
@deborah63 ive never seen it, so dont think so!
December 6th, 2017
@deborah63 That I don't know!

@ludwigsdiana Hi Diana. Like a lot of people I use alexisbirkill.com too but have noticed it's missed a couple of photos so now I tag my photos as well. I go back and use the edit facility to add a tag. I use my 365 username and then just put PP, TP or CP at the end of the tag, e.g. nickspicsnzpp, and can then easily do a search. It took a while to go back and do my old photos but now I'm up to date it's relatively quick and easy to do.

(I'm not the world's best photographer so always get excited when, thanks to the lovely supportive people on 365, I see my images on the PP, TP or CP pages (only a couple of times on that page!) - it's easy to forget which they were.)

I have just come across the tool on https://alexisbirkill.com/365project/popularpage/ and very excited by it. So many of my photos I did not realise had been featured. :) Love that you can see how long each photo was featured for! Do we know what the algorithm is to calculate which photos are featured? There seems to be no rhyme or reason for it with mine! @vera365 @nickspicsnz @suzanne234 @ludwigsdiana

@ginaanderson sorry Gina, I do not have a clue. I am also relatively new to this, and so grateful to @suzanne234 who helped me through it.
