I am not really new here, but I feel like I am. I have never managed to complete a year, though I have tried and I might not make it this year (6 days in a row so far! Not bad, for me!) But I am thrilled to be trying again, and would love to find some new people to follow (and of course to follow me!) especially people from around the world, and right now, people from somewhere warm and pretty. I live in South Carolina in the US and it is supposed to be warm here even in the winter, but it is not right now. Actually, I am happy to see your frozen snowy pictures too! It is so inspiring to see so much creativity from around the world. (Especially if you have pictures with animals in them . . . ) Come visit me, so I can find you and follow your project! Or what is the best way to find people to follow? Even though I have been on 365 off and on for years, this is the first time I noticed that there was a discussion group . . . maybe I need to sharpen my powers of observation? hi Pam... there's a number of ways to find followers...
you can browse the various pages (popular, curated, new faces, latest), see what images appeal to you and check out the photogs... just click on the "browse" button along the top right menu bar to find these pages...
you can also browse by tag... so you could click on recent images tagged with dog, cat, bird, etc... if you've been including tags in your images you can click on those tags to see other photos with the same tags, which might help you find photogs with similar interests...

that will get you interacting a lot, get-pushed is a great one as you meet a new person each week, there is also a browse tab which has new faces and who to follow pages.
Look on the Thursday SH*T list published (on Thursdsys by Wendy) for the latest themes. Youll see many of same people do these. Good luck with your year.

you could also have a look at the images posted to the threads... for example the favourite fav thread is a great place to find images you might not always get to see... https://365project.org/discuss/general/30884/your-favourite-fav-of-another-365er-december-30th-2017-january-5th-2018
