Has anyone seen apparitions or ghostly images in their pictures? Since we all take so many pictures, I was just wondering.
I've only seen some orbs in a few of pictures I've taken over the years and some people say it is just dust floating in the air.
One time my husband and I we were visiting Gettysburg, PA, and were taking pictures of one of the battlefields from the Civil War, and when I snapped a picture with my camera (a film camera back then) I saw a bunch or orbs in the viewfinder when the flash went off and it freaked me out and I jumped into the car. Yikes! When I had the film developed there were faint orb images in it.
@mittens I spend a lot of time in graveyards but no ghosts so far. My wife had a spooky experience in Rockingham Castle when we visited though. I had left her in one of the downstairs rooms as she has a wheel chair and the last room was upstairs. Whilst she was waiting the wheelchair suddenly moved backwards! She was on a flat floor with the wall a few inches behind her so it freaked her out a bit!
@rjb71 Great story, Richard. I can understand that being scary for your wife. It would have scared me, too.
One time we were touring a house that was supposed to have strange happenings. While I stood near the wall in one room while the tour guide was talking, I suddenly felt as if something was zapping my foot. When I stepped away from the wall it stopped.
@bill_fe I forgot to mention, Bill, that it was dark when I took the picture and i saw the orbs in the viewfinder when the flash went off. It looked like a lot of little circles.
@mittens Well,Marylin, I took a picture icture in a church last October and when I went to the computer there were lost of strange images that I could not explain. The camera was on a tripod. I'm sure it must have been some optic effect from the candles or the light entering the windows. But I like to say the church was full of ghosts! Why deprive us of legends and dreams?
@byrdlip I remember it was warm and humid and I'm sure the bugs were probably out. I guess that could explain it if the light from the flash bounced off the bugs. I'd like to think it was ghosts, though. LOL
First of all, I don't believe in ghosts and think there is an explanation to things that happen. In this shot there is a small dot of ligth that wasn't there when I took the shot (no flash).

@pandorasecho The picture shot through the window of the cute kitty does look ghostly, Dixie, and the one with the child on the right side of the house gave me goose bumps. Very interesting.

The streaks and wispy wind from the window when you camera was on a tripod, Caterina, seems unexplainable.
The apparition on the right side of your picture is eerie looking, Liana, unless there was actually a person standing there.
