Can anyone please tell me where I can find frames for just 1 photo? The collage makers all seem to start with 2. The only one I am using so far is Photostatic collage. The quality of the image suffers quite a bit in some cases, so I would like to try something else. Thanks π
Thanks Kali, I don't really want to buy another editing software. I was hoping there would be something free. I would buy something with frames though π
I use hipstamatic on my iphone. It works with all images but the frames are square so they will be stretched if not used square.
I also make frames by hand in photoshop if I need something special but that can be quite intensive.
@ludwigsdiana I think pic monkey is free for ace members on this site. I used to use it last year when I was a member. Itβs quite good. If you upload your photo, then choose to edit using pic monkey its easy.
@ludwigsdiana The Nik Collection ( https://www.google.com/nikcollection/) contains plenty of frames and borders, besides fabulous controls on black and white and color photography. And it's completely free.
picmonkey is free, you do it after you have uploaded your photo as Emma said, you will see 'edit with picmonkey' in the box on the right hand side of one of your picture pages, where the tags are. once you go in there is a selection of frames under one of the buttons on the left hand side. that looks like a blue frame.
ribbet.com or ipiccy.com or befunky.com they do have frames but i suppose if you want the fancy ones, you will have to pay the annual premium fee. ribbet charges US$20 a year to use their premium features, not just frames. ipiccy and befunky used to charge the same amount but not sure if they upped their prices.
to add to kali's @kali66 last comment, while editing in picmonkey from your album, you should put your "privacy" to 'restricted' so that none of your followers can see the original uploaded photo until you're through editing.
Do you use apps at all? Fotor is available both in web format and App format. Plus there are some other fun ones like photo360 and PicsArt in app format.
I use the free picasa application for a lot of my collages. You can make your own collage sizewise or use just one picture.A choice of background colour, text and a lot more.
@kali66@julzmaioro@mastermek@emma78@domenicododaro@kali66@30pics4jackiesdiamond@summerfield@islambad@bruni Thanks so much for your input. My issue is that I do not want another editing software. I have Lightroom, PS Elements and the full Topaz Studio. They are too much already and it took me a long time to get used to them. I have bought the Digital Frame from TS and will try my luck with it. I will also look into Picassa though. I appreciate your input and promt response, thanks :-)
If you already have Elements you can add a frame using that software

I do have a number that I have created in Photoshop that I can upload to a drop box if you would like.
@k1w1 Thanks so much for your help and kind offer. I watched the video and will see tomorrow if it works for me. This is all very new to me and I am still in the learning stage. I have my first pc since last year and although I've heard of dropbox, I have no idea what it is or how it works π
I must be really dumb! After uploading my photo, I do not find "edit with picmonkey". Is it not available anymore? Meanwhile I have downloaded Nik as a plugin for Lightroom as I use it more often than Elements. Thanks for all the tips, tricks and advice π€
