Do You ever take lots of Photos then decide the last most rushed Photo is the best?

I do this alot!
I always feel that my Photos are rushed as Im so busy with everything else I dont get the time I'd like for the Photos.
Todays is a Sunset, taken on the way home from School with 4 Little Ones in tow, I was taking the Photos through a fence then the last one was taken whilst walking along and thats the one I've ended using.

My Keys and My Flower were late in the day ones too and came out ok in the end, I think maybe some days I try too hard with the Photos and im too fussy and the ones I dont try as hard with turn out best.

@lisahutchinson
First off...WOW Lisa that sunset is MAG.. I fav'd it. I do the same thing. Click, click ,click and pause..take one more..and either that is the one, or while i'm editing I think think of something else to take a shot of.

@jwresa Thank You :)

Often my most rushed become the more popular ones..

Usually the first one I take is the best

All the time! I tend to find the last ones are generally better. Weird. Haha.

Like Kelly, I often find the first one I took was just perfect and could have saved myself a lot of time & effort lol!!
January 28th, 2011
Yeah... for me it is either the first one or the last one. LoL Weird how that works!

A few times its been the first one too, Strange isnt it.
January 28th, 2011
yes, i just did that today =)

Yes! It happened with my bubble pic for the mid-air theme....I took HEAPS and just when i was about to give up and go inside I took a fluke of a photo :D

I was out & about one morning last November, went to a local stately home (Blickling Hall) to get shots of the mist rising over the lake etc. Lots of pics, all carefully taken. As I was leaving, I saw a potential shot & so I just hand held the camera (holding it with the tripod legs off the ground, nice & steady...), I fired off a few frames & hey presto, shot of the day. All the others were absolute rubbish. Here's the one that worked: http://www.flickr.com/photos/stevenandrachelb/5284127782/

Haha, it's either that or the very first one.

I am actually pretty accurate at guessing which photo I want to use but sometimes I get pleasantly surprised. It really depends on which is best when I'm done processing all the ones I want to edit.

Nod
yes. happened to me a few times

yes quite often... for me it is when the battery is going to die.. I think when we are rushed we know we have to get right then or it is not going to get captured so we strive for that perfection in one shot.

Many times, my best photo of the day is a 'second thought' photo. I'm walking back to my car and snap one last picture. Those have been some of my best!
