@kjarn if you use photoshop to edit pix then there are 'cheats' to help you get different effects ... these are called actions - a set of actions to get a final prosecces result (vintage, reds, waterwash) . they are for people like me who can't use the individual bits and bobs to make it work. Presets are used in their additional programs of Camera RAW and Lightroom - same sort of thing - cheats to get a result more quickly.
