:'( awful. I've seen a lot of those photos from the footage on tv... but the one with the person in the back of the 4x4 is just shattering i got the biggest chills.
I keep hearing they've run out of ambulances... that ones proof. :(
@sam_cr - yep ran out of ambulance's an hour into the rescue, there are still at least 200 people trapped and more confirmed dead :( Our famous cathedral lost its tower and took with it and unspoken amount of people with it at this stage. We are expecting at least 10-20 more were inside the tower when it collapsed :(
It has really just rocked most of us kiwi's .. I am personally extremely devastated at the loss of life and beautiful old architecture.. a lot of New Zealand Icons have been lost between this one and September quake they had. The homes lost the upheaval for this poor city just breaks my heart and I would give anything to go down and help right now...
well said @alwaystheocean...be strong Chch. I'm starting from hear from friends and family but its really difficult getting even texts through from here. So scary and heartbreaking.
