How do you upload photos to discussion areas ie Competitions

Can anyone tel me how to do this i tried but it just came up in my own calender area THX

Go to the photo that you want to add to the discussion. On the bottom right there is a share with a box with a code. Click on it until it turns blue, right click to copy, and then go to the discussion board in the post area and right click andhit paste. Hope this helps.
