I have own a Canon SRL camera for nearly 10 years, but now I hardly use it. I use Samsung S24 for all my photos but i find the battery runs out very quickly. I seem use my phone to do everything from GPS, phonecalls and various apps.
I want a light, travel camera, that is easy to carry in my hiking bag, around my neck etc. I want a camera that takes good landscape, as well as city photos on my hiking and travel trips overseas. I want a good zoom lens but not a camera that I have to change lens all the time unless its light weight.
I just need your recommendations on a camera that is easy to use, lightweight, not bulky, good resolution & pixels, point & shot, change the zooms etc . I hope you know what I mean.
I am so confuse on the internet as there is no many choices. I am not worried about the price.
We bought our DSLR specifically because it was the lightest weight model we could find, as I have health problems and there are days when everything hurts and as light as anything can be is best! It's a Canon EOS Rebel SL3. I don't know if it will suit you because it is still one where you have to change lenses and those can be heavy. When I first started using it I often used a 75-300mm zoom lens which I called "the big lens." My dad, who was into photography back in the 70s, thought it was hilarious that I called that "big" and gifted me a much larger one that I now call "the bazooka." I can't use the bazooka on my worse days, lol. But with a regular lens the setup it's quite light and with a 75-300 it's still not too bad.

Bridge cameras are lightweight and not too bulky. I used to use a Nikon Coolpix B700. There are newer models. The zoom range was pretty good too up to 140mm
I can echo what Andrew says above. With its kit lens it is reasonably small. There are also options with it for the future with Viltrox Pro range f1.2 lenses which are competitively priced. There is also a Sigma wide angle zoom which is small and competitively priced.
@kjarn@30pics4jackiesdiamond I look at this camera it has good zoom qualities. i was also looking at the Sony RX100VII as well, even though it does not have great zoom range but has better photos & sharper details. So many choices out there. thanks
