@cazink I was told when I was younger that white lilys were funeral flowers but I've always found them too beautiful to use only for such sad occasions. One day, when I don't have nursery bills to pay, I look forward to buying myself a large bouquet of white lilies and dark red roses, I think I would spend the first day just looking at and smelling them!
@emmar84 I agree they are stunning, my mum often has lilys in her house, the smell thing is really annoying, I couldn't bear to have them in my wedding flowers because of it. I had the red roses though! :D
These are all so good, I feel a little shy about posting my attempts.. but here goes.
I have developed a bit of a complex about keeping Greg red in my photos - I love editing and effects and stuff, but no matter what I do to my photos (and this isn't very often!) Greg the Duck *has* to be red. Not quite B&W, I'm afraid, but maybe the right sorta thing:
I love selective colour. I basically use 1 of 2 basic methods to achieve it: desaturating all colours but one or using masks. something in the picture itself will usually tell me which one I should use. A few of mine from this project:
I have only done a few photos in selective colouring
This one is of David's eye
One of my daughters glasses
And the most recent one from this week of some boats.
I absolutely love selective colour as my poor followers might have noticed ;). There are amazing examples of it on here!!! I'll add a few shots of my own and hope you enjoy them ;):
I"ve not done any selective coloring myself but I follow this guy who is doing incredible selective coloring.

I have started with a perfect red (Degree #0) at Day 5." ~ Jordan Ausesky (@plopx )
I love all the photos. I have a question. I deleated my yahoo account. I was having troule withs omeone hacking into my craigs list account. Now I can't get into my flicker account. Do I need a new yahoo account to get back into it? Will a new one give me my old flicker account back or is that lost and I have to start over?
I've not done many selective colours pics, but this is one of my fave own photos from my project so far:
so, i did a high contrast/b&w effect, but left the eyes the original color.
