SoCal 365 Gathering – Friday, May 27?

Hello SoCal 365ers!

I am going to be making a solo trip down to SoCal to visit family and friends in LA as well as to see the Tim Burton Exhibit opening 5/29 at LACMA. It is going to be a whirlwind trip with me arriving 5/26 and leaving again 5/30 but I was hoping that we might be able to arrange a 365 gathering Friday afternoon/evening, 5/27. I would like to suggest meeting at the Santa Monica Third Street Promenade. I am suggesting it based on prior experiences there with great street performers, lots of great food/shopping and it is a small hop, skip and jump over to Pacific Park/the pier which could be fun between the amusement park lighting and the ocean being right there for sunset! If you have recommendations for places to meet or a better day, please let me know!

@amonroy76 Very cool! I hope we have a nice group gathering! I thought Friday afternoon to evening would work best so people have time to get to Santa Monica and that way we can see the sunset, have dinner or whatever. =)

I'd like to come! Weekdays are tricky for me because I'm a temp, so I don't know where I'll be starting from that day. Right now I'm working in Santa Monica but this gig is scheduled to finish the week before you come out. So we'll see. But I'll try!
