combining photos?

I am a beginner to photo editting, actually i hardly ever do it. but i wanted to take 2 photos that i took yesterday & combine them into 1 side by side photo to post onto here. how do i do that? i actually just HP image zone on my computer, do i have to have some fancy program to make this work??? help!

You can go on picnik.com and upload the two photos to make them into a collage! There's several different options for collages, so you could choose a side-by-side one.

i just want to combine to make new photo & then post onto project 365...can i do that?

Yes you can, if I'm understanding you. You want them side by side, right? Not like layering and stuff like that? (because I don't know anything about that!) @spagel

Yes you can do it on picnik, I downloaded photoscape (free software) which also allows you to collage photos as well with many different templates

is there any free site like piknic where you can combine more than 3-3 photos as i think on there you can do at most 4 without subscription

@kmrtn6 I did a post on here asking the same thing a while back as My Bank Card wont work with Picnik to upgrade, will find the post and bump up.

the picnik i used was free...if you more out of the editing...have to upgrade.

Yes, Picnik is fine if you want to use one of their suggested layouts, but Picasa is better if you want the freedom to place the objects where YOU want them. I use both - Picasa for the layout and Picnik for refining the various elements. Here are two examples.
