If you believe as I do that the image produced by the camera is just one part of the picture and that processing, cropping, presentation and words are of equal importance, you might like to try a simple collage to tell the whole story.
(Picasa and Picnik are ideal for the job, easy to use, and very inexpensive too!).
This collage combined two related stories this week and was posted with a separate caption giving background information.
Wow! The ideas are really flowing ... a wonderful collection of collages of all kinds; all full of interest and so well done! It's great to see so much interest in this way of saying so much more than a single shot in a compact space. Keep 'em coming, folks!
We had to do that in college. The objective was to tell your story without using words. Then the class had to say what they thought the story was so we could see how well we did.
I love doing collages and would probably do one every other day if I didn't challenge myself to do other kinds of pictures! This was a recent one from a trip in May.
We love going to Yankee Candle Co. It's our family tradition to take photos by the pumpkin/flower cart. It's been many years, so I decided to put them all together so I can see how my kids have grown through the years. Time certainly does fly!!! (AND, we're due to go back again...at least for the photo op. Hee hee):
So, enough from me ;). Did I mention I love collages ;)?
