While I was on holiday in Bali I used my sons laptop to view my photo's on a 1gb memory card, while looking at them the laptop battery died & I plugged it back in & ran it off the power. I went back to the memory card & it said it was empty :( put it in my camera & it says memory card full but when I try to view the photos it says there's no photo's to view...I don't know what to do next, is there somewhere I can take it or some way of recovering the photo's?? Mostly of the kids at the Bali Bird Park :( or have I lost them forever??
Any & all suggestions welcome
Thanks.

chances are you haven't lost them forever. dont do anything with the card until you find someone who specializes in recovery. Just put in a safe place. my son had similar issues when he was travelling and we were able to find a guy who recovered maybe 80%. Certainly better than nothing. There are people that specialize so do some research. I think we had to pay around $100 US. A lot, but worth it. Good luck.

@winshez This is really good to know. I had some photos that were "lost" on a disc as well. I've saved it because I know you can recover them. I'll check out Wondershare when I have the extra $$$ to spend. Thanks for sharing your mishap- you helped more than yourself!! You helped me too!
