What's your favourite photo over the past week, between 13 and 19 August?
You can post your favourite photo by copying and pasting the code from the 'Share' box that's in your photo page, together with info on when it was taken. Part of the challenge is only selecting ONE picture, so no cheating!
I think the photo itself is okay, and not of any technical greatness, but what I like the most about this photo was the fun afternoon spent making it happen :)
Probably because I had so much fun taking it...It was fun relaxing in the cemetary chasing this grasshopper and talking to my brother after a hard day's work. I feel so relaxed and free when I can go hunt down a photo and move my thoughts from worries to productivity. Thught it came out well too....
I've been trying for 2 years now to get a full moon shot. If it's not been the weather making it difficult, it's been the timing. The closest I got was with the Super Moon and it was only 99% full, until this week. :-)
Took this on the 16th and it's the first time I have done anything like it. I wanted to get the look of a painted flower and I hope I achieved it .....
Dying Cosmos
This was a totally unplanned shot and a ridiculously simple idea inspired by the dramatic shaft of sunlight that streamed into my living room one evening. Turned out better than I could have hoped.
Mine has to be this one, mainly because I was just trying to get an idea of the exposure compensation needed, so was hand holding my 100-400 lens. Never expected this result:
It had to be this one for me. I walked around this butterfly bush and there he was. I only got this one shot of him before the door to the nature center slammed and he was gone.
this was mine from the 19th. a lot of people thought it was processed, but it's not, except for the framing and the name tag. i think because i shot this in the evening and the lighting in the room was from one of those energy-saving bulbs that has a yellowish tint.

How can it not be this one with the fantastic reaction it got - it was a great day out!
i like the colour and its a tad bit sentimental for me
so happy with the natural vignette from the trees on this one.
Dying Cosmos
this is mine from the 14th
My favorite of the week. 4th sitting of my hubbies full head tattoo. One more sitting and its completed!
