Guys, just want to get your opinion on this. I'm a parttime freelance photog.
I am thinking of enrolling in an online photo institute and get a diploma here in Australia, in your experience (more of those who are working professionally or have studied in photography) is it a necessity?
Well I'm not "Professional" but I started taking online Photography classes at The Art Institute to get my Bachelor there (started not to long ago). And so far I love it, We learn everything technical plus some web design. We also learn how to start a business and everything that goes with that (I'm not that far yet though so I haven't taken that class). We also learn about all types of photography. The school also helps students get an internship. I know this wasn't exactly what you were looking for but I hope it helps!
@ronphotography Did you sign up? I am on the verge of enrolling in it, but nervous to make the move! I know of one other 'friend' (a virtual one) who signed up a few months ago and loves it. I'd be interested to hear what you think if you are doing it now.
