I was thinking about having a free trial of photoshop but there are so many to try I don't know which one. Or am i being dumb and you can try them all? If not which one should I go for? Or any recommendations? http://www.photoshop.com/products
If you have never tried anything like photoshop before, you will be completely overwhelmed by it and not get very far in the 30day trial.
i would try the lightroom trial, its abit more basic to work with.
I agree. Photoshop is tough to learn and really use fully in 30 days. If you just want to do basic photo editing, Lightroom or Elements are far easier to learn. Lightroom would probably be the best for most people I would say.

if you decide to try photoshop for 30 days, get the Elements version. It's more for beginners. Play with filters (it is a tab at the top), learn how to use layers, and if you get the chance, learn layer masks. It can be tough, but totally worth it! just look around online for some photoshop tutorials.
