With Vikdaddy being a little busy with some wedding marlarky, I've stepped in for a couple of weeks to keep the weekly favourite shot thread going...
What's your favourite photo over the past week, between 3 September and 9 September?
You can post your favourite photo by copying and pasting the code from the 'Share' box that's in your photo page, together with info on when it was taken. Part of the challenge is only selecting ONE picture, so no cheating!
@shadowdancer Vik seems to do this thread Sat - Fri, his last thread was for pics during 27 Aug to 2 Sept, so I have carried on using the same time frame :-)
@andycoleborn : That's okay... Just realized why I thought one day was missing, it's because I haven't done my upload for today... Dang it, I'm getting old! lol
This one, taken for the 'me every week' , of which this week's theme was emotion. It was the only shot I took - I wasn't in the mood for running back and forth with the camera on self-timer, so decided to just have one go at it, and was so pleased with the result as it expresses everything I'm feeling at the moment. It also got onto the PP, which is great :D
posted on 6th september .. quite happy with this weeks work so was hard to choose! :) all of these pictures are amazing though, there isnt one i dont like
This is my Fav & not because it got me back on the PP either. I love that I did this without a "real" macro lens & I absolutely love the tiny little light flare.
this is the one I prefer for the week - as it is just one of those unplanned, quick snap, that I did not think would turn out nicely and did... for me anyway...
I've decided to master the manual setting on my camera so have used that most days this week (and plan to continue until I understand it all!). Unfortunatley to do this I know my photos will take a step back in quality until they can move forwards.
I'm quite happy with this one from 7th September but I'm disapointed in the number of photos this week which I've deleted.
I love this one because I got out of my comfort zone to take portraits and to play around with processing it to get the buttons stand out which I am not skilled at!
Now, before anyone passes judgment or becomes offended with this photo... please note that this is Episode 5 of my Short story "Darkness". Please see and read from Episode 1 (in my wall this last week only) to know what this picture means, if you're interested. Peace and thanks. :)
Yes, I had more artistic shots this week, and yes, I had some stunning nature shots, but this one has to be my favorite. Why? Because I love watching my son interact with his son and seeing the joy and love that they share with one another!
I love this thread, i love seeing peoples work, and than the hard bit of choosing my fav...
it would have to be this one..
I love the concept of my photo, but i think the result could be better...
for me it was this - a little different to my normal stuff! (actually the whole week was a little different!)
It still makes me feel good when I look at it, and it's now my new wall paper on my work computer. :-)
Because of that, I have to pick my Sept. 3rd picture, otherwise I would have chosen Sept. 2nd. :-P
This is my "favourite" shot of mine this week. They've all been a bit rubbish tbh!

This one ...just a beautiful peaceful moment..
it would have to be this one i love my rain boots
This was a hard decision, but I really dig the emotion in this one :)
Doesn't matter really, as Jesse's photo is worthy of looking at again and again!
