This is my favorite photo (of my own) in a long long time. I finally got a chance to meet Thor the Steller's Sea Eagle now in residence at the World Bird Sanctuary (where I volunteer). There are perks to volunteering, like getting up close and personal with marvelous creatures such as this.

@ronphotography ha ha! He's still a baby at only 14 weeks old! It has been documented that a fully grown adult Steller's can carry off a seal pup. It won't take him long to reach his full size but he'll technically still be a juvenile for several years.
