SD card wont stay in?

I just tried putting my sd card in my camera but it wont stay in, normal it clicks and stays. It worked fine yesterday and I have not dropped or knocked it. Does anyone have any ideas. It is definitely the camera as the card works in the computer.

try another card if you have it? if the other card wont go in then it could be the camera ,, if it does then I dont know what to tell you. sorry.... long shot though see if the card is locked?? if locked it could be that stopping it,.. although I have never heard of that happening before... but thats all I can come up with at 7am... good luck finding out whats wrong

@nikkers Thank very much. I just tried another SD but that doesn't stay in either. So it must be the camera. I will have to get in touch with Nikon.

I've sent a camera back to them before and it came back fairly quickly, all the work done. :-) Think your best bet would be to ask a question on their technical support first and they'll reply and give you any other info you need.

I've found the problem. The SD card has snapped within the slot. Do you reckon it will still be covered by the warranty?

@luke Yeah, I did, but it wasn't a lot.
When you say it's snapped, which bit?

@wormentude Its alright now I managed to remove it and it all works fine.
It was the corner where there is a triangle, the side had split and come apart.
