Super excited! I launch my own web site today. It is MikeSchwandnerPhotography.com. Any feedback from you guys would be awesome!! This project is a wonderful support system.
Also I was wondering who else on here has a personal website for selling images?
If you do what is the web address?
Oh - quick feedback - I suggest changing your image filenames to something that makes sense (instead of a variation of what the camera named them). This will also mean that the images themselves add to your SEO.
I really like the layout - it's simple, clean and easy to navigate, and also does your photos justice. :)
I will be launching my site too, hopefully in the next few weeks (after I do some usability testing), and selling prints and canvases of my photos through it. :)
@jinximages you site is crazy cool. I do have one question though. Your portraits, how do you get the eye color to pop the way it does. Is that a lense thing or an editing thing?
@pocketmouse I will buy your photo of the dog on the bench then! Love that shot @bk12racing I believe Jinx did a tutorial awhile back on getting eyes to pop.....maybe check the discuss archives
@dawnetta hey thanks for checking it out. I will definetly check your site out! I always like to see what others are doing, and try to draw off that as well
I don't sell to non-clients, but here's my site if you're interested: http://www.jinximages.com.au
