Uninspired

[i'm sorry, another discussion /:]
I'm totally uninspired..... I don't know why! When you're sitting around on a Sunday afternoon and there's a dusting of snow, what do you find inspiring enough to take a photo of?

I usually go raid my daughter's toys and take pictures from a different angle. Or food. Or play with light/shadow.

I'm in Florida. I don't get snow. I have only seen snow once,it was in Wisconsin, and I was 30 years old when I finally did see it. Surely there is something about snow that is photo worthy. Go build a snow midget and take a picture of that.

Something close up dusted with snow, the nice warm drink you're sipping to keep warm, a hat or scarf?
If your Christmas lights are still up, give a bokeh shot a go?

The idea you have any snow gets me excited - I very rarely see it - What about a macro of something 'dusted' in snow - ? Mailbox, leaf, stone, bird feeder, blade of grass, animal tracks, tire tracks, mini snowman, a bug, a row of sticks with different gloves stuck on top....endless possibilities - just have fun! :) Good luck.

Gosh if I was surrounded by snow I'd be inspired! But I guess it's a matter of what's not familiar!

If I was lucky enough to have snow, I'd get out in it and take photos - ordinary things take on a magical quality when covered with a coating of snow!

@tigervolleyball When I feel like that I usually go for a walk or a drive in an area that is usuall y new to me and look for things that I have never seen

We had a dusting of snow last week, then we got a couple inches now its melting! lol~ Anyways the day we just had a bit I took a picture of a fence post with snowflakes on it, and a couple leaves with snow on them. ~ Check out my shots if you want a bit of snow pics. ~ Try just picking up your camera and walking around, something will catch your eye! Good luck!

Erm... snow haha. Take a bus or a drive somewhere you don't usually visit. Somewhere historical. A local cemetery? I suppose with the snow it can be fairly miserable. I find when I go out actually getting the camera out helps A LOT. Sounds a bit obvious, but I'll go on a walk, with the intention and not take my camera out of my bag because I can't find anything to shoot. Get your camera out and shoot everything. I find that helps me anyway.

I would be running outside and trying to take a macro snowflake shot. Or look for some sunlight for some snow bokeh :)

I think a light dusting of snow on the ground makes for great photography. Maybe try some tree shots?
