I have this one from waaay back at the beginning of my project. 111 views and no comments, lol. Mind you, I completely get it. What are you gonna say? "Nice moustache in the background there!" ?
This is mine... but I have to say it made me feel good to go back through my photos to find this photo, I had to go back to October to find a shot without a comment I thought it would be less than that
This is one of my favorites and sadly enough it didn't get any comments. I am not new to 365 but due to life's unexpected bumps in the road I stopped and just didn't get back into the swing of things until this year. I hope to get farther this year. :)
This one didn't get a comment, but I still love it. I smile every time I look at it. Not because of the composition, but what they were doing.
Some advice to the new members. The key to getting comments is to comment on other's photos. The key to getting followers is to follow others. There's a common attitude on here called reciprocity, which be a good thing or just another thing to feel pressured to do. Some people don't have a lot of time or get busy, so don't feel bad if it doesn't work out one day.
I have several photos with no comments---I didn't know that meant y'all thought my photos were bad! Oh, well, I am doing this for me ...hoping to improve my photography at some point. First step is a better camera but that will have to wait awhile.
@blerinab What a nice idea! Occassionally I stumble upon a really awesome pic and an surprised at the lack of comments! Here's one of my recent neglected ones:
@pwallis I'm sorry I find it incredible to believe that 111 people stopped by, one hundred and eleven - and not one person was able to come up anything constuctive, something? How about interesting composition with the black in white tones? Or what type of wine are you drinking even? I kind of can't get over that enormous number. That shit always baffles me. I have some for sure but with not nearly as many speechless views. Another interesting feature of this mysterious place we hang around in. And I must say I did get a bit of a chuckle about it, too.
a lot of my old photos don't have a comment, but that's okay, I admit i wasn't very active then ;D
and these 2 also didn't get a comment, but i still love them
It's not all about the comments! When I started I was just grateful that occasionally someone dropped, by had a look and was so excited when someone actually commented! In my second year now and love it but doing it for me! Some days I spend far too much time on here there are SO many photographs and people posting. Looking, commenting, exploring. Browse latest, popular page and by day. Check out how many shots are being posted each day! Just have fun!! :oD
It really is all that matters...your project your pics... I like how you recolored the danelions. I think I would have put the post just slightly to the left for a little more interest. Nice work!
@gknees365
When viewing your photo, on the right hand side if you scroll down there's a little section that says "Share". In the space under it is a code you have to copy and paste into here and it'll show up as the image. :)
i really liked this one and spent quite a while trying to set it up and figuring out how to change my focus point so it wouldn't focus in the middle of the picture
All of mine have no comments, BUT i just got them posted tonight. I would love for some one to give me some ideas on how I can photograph my every day life (that's what I want to do with my 365 project) and I know no one wants to see 365 photos of my daughter.
So far I don't have many views and/or comments on most of my photos :/ I only have 25 photos so far and maybe only a handful of comments :) Guess that's part of being a newbie!
I am totally in awe of those of you that struggle to find one WITHOUT comments as I only have a handful with! LOL
However I have also been very slack, like so many others started last year with vim and vigour, then took my family to Australia and got overwhelmed with all the photos I had to go through so lost track.
But I am back again the year with full intentions to improve my photographs, comment on others I like more and hopefully pick up a few friends along the way.
Hi folks, sorry for being faceless at the moment. I had a bit of a problem when I went to change my profile photo from the one I had posted originally. I should know to leave good enough alone. I will re-post a proper pic tonight. Anywho, I went thru my albums looking for comment-less entries and, unless I missed something, I could't find any. I got comments starting with my very first photo.
Bragging? Maybe a little. But...what I want to say here is that I consider myself super lucky to have found, and to have been found by, some very nice people who enjoy looking at the stuff I post and whose gracious, generous and encouraging comments I can count on to keep me inspired and motivated even when the going gets tough. Many thanks and much love to all of you. XO - Monica
@archaeofrog I did this last year with hearts! Then I wanted to get adventurous and try other shapes, but I'm just not that great at cutting out shapes I learned. lol
brand newbie here - only have four photos at this point and no comments - I didn't actually realize this site was for comments, but I'll be sure to check around now! Make sure you see the one of my daughter in a sleepmask - I can't figure out how to attach here.
@foursides Actually, I had luck with Christmas trees, but my attempt at a snowflake was super clumsy. (I did discover that using an exacto knife instead of scissors worked far better!)
hei @hannahferrari21 how are you, im new here :) by the way can you teach me how to take picture with that such beautiful vintage effect of yours? thanks :)
I started this "Project365" on 1st jan as my new year resolution.
and i m using mobile camera (1.3 megapixel)...
it's my first attempt on daily basis....
and enjoying it :)
@withagoldenglow On the right hand side of your photo on your project page you'll see a box that says share. Highlight the contents of the box, left click and highlight copy, then come back to this discussion page and left click in the post reply box and hit paste. The written info on your picture will appear and all you need to do is hit post reply and the picture will appear.
@withagoldenglow You are welcome! I was in the same boat when I first started and someone graciously walked me through it too! That is one of the great things about the community of 365! Too bad these had no comments! They're both fine shots!
I don't know what people want? Surely not a meaningless 'that's nice!'
I really think comments should be if the picture is really meaningful or well executed or some form of constructive criticism. Most people don't want some constructive criticism not matter how well intentioned. I've looked through the pictures pasted on this thread and well quite frankly you can see why there are no comments for most- subject is too small or lost in the picture. Direct flash has killed the atmosphere, image too dark orsimply nothing special with no story to tell.
I thought the aim of he 365 project was a like a personal photo journey - not reliant on how many comments you received!
Having said that I quite like the YouTube system of thumbs up or thumbs down to indicate if it's good or bad.
As for me, I sort of abandoned this last year and hope to do better this year I have lots of uncommented!! :-)
I am a Newbie also and although i have had comments there are some without..either way I just feel like and always have that Beauty is in the EYE of the Beholder! Call it old fashion ..Call it uncaring ...Some Images are only Special to You..and you alone know what the meaning is behind the shot...I have found by following people you get feed back which is why i came onto this site in the first place..Ilove to hear someone eles opinion..because clearly I love to give mine!! Stick with it and someone will see the beauty you have experienced if not just Own It!! Because if you keep trying and keep learning you should only get better!!
After looking at all of the Above Photos's and Comment's There are So Many Beautiful Shots that surley deserved a Comment and then some that I couldnt even tell what the Image was at all..so Like I said ..Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder..cause i think my Grandchildren are the most Beautiful in the World (not yet posted yet) But then again they are Mine!!..So do you see what i mean?..I havent figured out even how to post a picture to this forum ...yet by reading this I Learned . Still since i am Computer Stupid..i still dont know how to Copy and Paste..Sorry...Still Learning!
Oh I found another one! But really, it's only funny to me cos I looked up and he had magically appeared in my face like this...not really anything to inspire a comment from anone else.
This was mine. I was really surprised as I had gone way out of my comfort zone and shot people in the street. And I thought I'd really pulled it off! Maybe they didn't like the dustbins!
this is my one, Bess wouldn't stay still so this is the best I could do
This mine :) I think I have a couple with no comments, maybe it's all hit and miss.
Thanks so much! It's a male woodpecker. A Hairy, I believe.
This is mine... but I have to say it made me feel good to go back through my photos to find this photo, I had to go back to October to find a shot without a comment I thought it would be less than that
Two I found after some searching. hehe

This photo is from my last 365 project. It didn't get a comment, but I still really like this one! :)

one of the many lol.
:-)
I am hoping to do a better job of following and receiving comments in the New Year!
Photo number 5 never got a comment, and I think Bradley could do with a little love ;-)
This never got a comment, which I though was a shame
:D
This is one of the ones with none
I Love This Picture♥
i had a phase when I just got stuck on taking pictures of toadstools/mushrooms..I thought this one was a bit different
I really liked this one from "Picnic at Pemberley" hosted as a fundraiser by a local museum. His expression makes me smile each time for some reason.

A lot of mine haven't gotten comments, but this is one of my favourites out of all of them.
But this is one of my very favs that never got noticed :)
THANKS!
i thought this one would do well but no comments, i have a few albums going so that may be why :-)
