First, a big thanks to everyone who voted in week 3 of the Street Photography Now challenge.
Personally I didn't get a photo for the week 4 brief ("Document some evidence of human ingenuity that would other go unnoticed. Do it without including any humans in the picture"), so congratulations to all who did.
As Jase (@38mm) said in week 1, "choosing 5 as the finalists sucks". I had trouble picking between what I felt were the best 'street shots' and those that most closely fitted the brief. In the end, I've just picked my favourites from those tagged spn-4.
So, with thanks to Jase for running this very challenging set of tasks, here are my five picks in no particular order.
#1 @cmc1200 - 'Ups and Downs'
#2 @aurorajane - 'walk'
#3 @primitiveprobe - 'Nuts and bolts...'
#4 @38mm - 'Human Ingenuity'
#5 @ladyjane - 'fire escape'
I also really loved this one, but it had people in it. :(
Please vote with the number of your favourite & I'll tally up the votes on Saturday 9th June.
@humphreyhippo awww... tx so much... see - knowing my photos resonate with others is what is really meaningful to me... that, and learning from the others here, and having fun while doing it... :)
