This is just to see if there would be any interest in a slightly different weekly challenge. A former 365'er @shanne told me about a Flickr group called Get Pushed and I thought it might be fun to try here.
So here is how it will work You express an interest. I will then pair people up. You then challenge your partner to shoot something different than he or she ordinarily shoots. And your partner also challenges you. You then have a week to complete the challenge and post the picture. With your picture you describe the challenge and how you met it, I will even allow camera phone shots :P
We could have a vote, but it might be unfair as all different subjects will be shot and its more about getting people to try new stuff, but it still may work.
Then the following week I will then select a new partner for everyone and off we go again.
Could be a chance to try new stuff, and get to know other members of the site.
I'm new to the site (joined a week ago) and photography and feel I still have so much to learn but would love to take part in this. Please count me in.

I would be interested in trying this in August. I am doing a combination of the July photo a day and the July thumbnail challenge this month. I don't think I could add an additional challenge this month.
So @38mm when will we get this started? Are you going to start a discussion on get pushed week (whatever) and list the partners and then in that same discussion we tell our partner what we want to see and post those shots in the same discussion thread or something different? Can you opt in & opt out different weeks (week-to-week challenge) or do we sort of "join" the get pushed group?
This sounds like it could be a lot of fun, I'm just wondering how it's going to work. Can't wait to get started
@myhrhelper Monday I should imagine, I will post up something on Sunday. People will be paired for that week, they issue a challenge to that person by posting on one of there photo's. We can then have a thread at the end of the week for people to post there photo's and what they found hard about it etc.
I would rather not have people opting in and out as I don't have time to keep track of what people are doing. The Flickr group link was just to show how people it works on there.
This was to just to see who was interested, all in good time.

I would recommend that when you "pair" us up, don't just look for someone who may seem to be similar but rather mix it up. Some weeks we get matched with someone "our age" and another week someone completely different than us - just a thought but you probably have it all planned and you know what has already worked in Flicker @38mm.
@myhrhelper I have no intention of pairing similar people, everyone will be assigned a number and I will use http://www.random.org/ to generate the pair for that week.
So it's gonna happen this last week of the month? suits me if so, I was taking a break from uploading in August, but I'll sort something if it's august. I was gonna do a series of pics not taken recently. remember cute women...
