We had the same-september challenge and it was fun for me. so fun that I refuse to quit and decided to carry it on into October, just choosing new subjects to refresh the challenge. I waited late to decide and may be going it alone but anyone who wants to join in is welcome. I'll be tagging every day same-october which isn't as alliterative but is easy to remember.
copied and pasted from that last month's challenge are the following rules
* Mondays: Same scene.
Choose one spot, and take a pic of it each Monday. See how different it can look - maybe different times, people, light...
*Tuesdays: Same subject.
You can choose what to photograph, but you have to take a pic of the same thing each Tuesday - feel free to tweak anything else about your shots!
* Wednesdays: Same settings.
You can take a pic of anything you like on Wednesdays, but you have to make a note of the settings on your camera (or choose a specific processing 'recipe' if your camera isn't programmable) and use the same settings each week.
* Thursdays: Same symbol.
Choose a symbol of some kind - letters, numbers, squiggles... Try to find different examples of it every Thursday.
* Fridays: Same shape.
Circles, squares, shell-shapes... the shape is up to you - but you need to find one each Friday during September...
* Saturdays: Same sensation.
Try to find something that stimulates the senses - it could be a particular texture, something that makes you think of a specific scent or sound. Choose carefully as you need to get a picture relating to that sensation every Saturday in September :)
* Sundays: Same something.
This one is up to you - choose a 'something' and take a picture of it each Sunday in September. It can be anything you like- concrete, abstract or intangible...
As ever, the challenge is a guide - it's entirely up to you how you interpret words, if you want to swap days around, etc...

@pandorasecho Thanks for letting me know Dixie. I'm the one who put together the Either Or October, so of course I'll be doing that. I've done three challenges that line up in the thumbnails in a row. I'm on overload for those and need a break with random things- but I think Little Piggy might want to pop up on Tuesdays for your challenge. She was featured as my same subject.
I'll definitely be following along. I've thought of the two other October challenges and have started October, but this sounds fun too. I just have a lot of things going on and some Travel in October, so don't think I can keep it going, but may try.
@olivetreeann I know you're tired of it, but I only watched your first two and you got me motivated. I was just a slow starter. And I love your page so I always look, so It would be good to see little piggy show up.
@dmortega@henrir@pjonas Thanks for checking in, I get that everyone has a lot to do and it is fun to see all the differences. Dorrena, after doing a ton of color collages in August, I'm dead on that idea for awhile, but love seeing fresh shots from others. Patty, mondays house view could be quite awhile, glad to check in as you do it. Henri, the travel sounds excellent, things can be so beautiful in the Fall.

Hey Dixie! Thank you for thinking to send this my way...right now, I am so swamped though, that I am posting filler most of the time and cannot really commit to the challenge. thanks again for letting me know. Sometimes, I need the challenges, but right now, just cannot do it! :))

i have already started 2 challenges but am looking to see how i can incorporate them into this one. i KNOW i can do this although not sure i can do every day. but i will be here! thank you so much for including me! that means so much to me!
