Thank you so much for those of you who stepped up to do this challenge and I commend you for being such troopers. To me you are all winners.
In order for me to wisely and diligently choose the finalists, I browsed a couple of times (talk about OCD) all of Ms. Bourke-White's photographs that are available online. All 25 submissions were excellent representation of Ms. Bourke-White's work - it was no surprise therefore that I had a hard time eliminating entries to come up with five. At one point I resorted to minie-minie-my-nee-mo but I thought it was not very professional, so I had enlisted the help of my personal chauffeur, scouting man, cook, director, dictator rolled into one known around this side of 365 as 'partner'. After several minutes of nagging (mostly from partner), we agreed on four but came to an impasse on the fifth finalist. So I'm quite happy to tell you beautiful people that you have now the difficult task of choosing the winner from the final six. Voting starts now and you have until Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 8:00 o'clock p.m. my time (that's Toronto/New York time, when I shall have finished dinner and started to relax) to cast your votes after which I shall tally them and the results posted soon after.
