As the winner of the mundane-toothpick challenge, it is my honor to host this week's mundane challenge!
The mundane theme was started by Aaron @grizzlysghost for those of us who may have lost inspiration. He suggested we take an ordinary, boring object and start shooting it. Turn the ordinary into the extraordinary!
This week's mundane star is the hex key or Allen wrench. Just a bit more commentary:
I did read up on these at Wikipedia and evidently "Allen Wrench" is a trademarked product and there is a request not to genericize by calling ALL hex keys "Allen wrenches". Leave it to me to step into controversy trying to find a mundane subject! ;->
The only rule: there can be no question that the hex key is the star of your photo!

Because of this challenge I discovered they are also called hex keys - who knew (well not me).
