Wow! Thank you all so much that you made me the winner of ETSOOI-11 with my 'Flower torches'-pic. I feel really honoured, especially because I thought the other entries were great. My first won challenge. I'm so happy :) :) :)
I used to be not a great fan of processing shots. I thought it was not done (sorry). Just take a good photo and leave it as it is. But... this ETSOOI-challenge 'changed my life' (ahum) ;)!
I purchased Lightroom 4 (I just heared there is a number 5 already...) but didn't dare to dive into it and explore all the possibilities of 'ETSOOI-ing', yet. I carefully set my first steps into processing just recently by using Microsoft Office Picture Manager, which I came across by accident (don't laugh...). And I think I'll be almost ready now to dive bravely into the Lightroom-world and get 'steamed-up' for another ETSOOI-experience! :)
For the ones amongst us who don't have a clue what ETSOOI means, I copy some text from former challenges: "ETSOOI is an acronym that was started by MaryBeth @espyetta (good idea, thanks!) that means Edit The Sh**/stuffing/shenanigans Out Of It. It's the war cry of the hopelessly PS addicted and here on 365 we like nothing more than to feed those addictions!" :)
The challenge will start today, June 19th and end Friday June 28th at 24.00 BST (British Summer Time). Your photo must be taken during that time. Voting will commence as soon after this time as I have looked through the entries and picked 5 finalists (probably starting on Monday July 1st). The winner will host next challenge and choose it's theme.
Kitti @kittikat, who hosted the former challenge - thank you so much! - looked through older challenges and found out that the folowing themes have been used already: emotion, movement, reflection, weather, energy, water, wildlife. She herself picked 'light'.
I hope the theme I picked for the new challenge hasn't been used already: TRANSPARENCY!

This sounds like a very interesting ETSOOI theme! I will try to participate! I myself ETSOOI alot with Snapseed, then Photowizard, sometimes Percolator, and Befunky...on my IPAD. I just lay there and try different things...until I hit one I like. Online, I use PicMonkey, Ribbet, Picasa, and other things like that. Anyway, "transparency"...intriguing! I am so used to the Mad Minute challenge being so fast and furious and only one day, so this will be nice to get a few days to do this ETSOOI challenge.
@stimuloog@darylo You're welcome! The nice thing about the web based ones is that they are free. Well, Picmonkey does have a paid upgrade for some extra ETSOOI fun. The others were very reasonable on a tablet or I PAD as an app. I view ETSOOI as "painting" with the photo I took as the starting point. I just sit there and watch a movie or listen to music, kick back with my IPAD, and let the ETSOOI flow. I am not very good at it...I produce some really cheesy ETSOOI. I have seen some great photos that just happened to be ETSOOI-ed since this challenge has been running....
Okay. No problem. I will take another one before tomorrow if possible. I wanted to try multiple exposure for the transparency theme and before I go and take pictures for it, I wanted to play with couple of old pics I already had. I liked how it turned out and couldn't resist asking you. :-)
