I have been asked to pick this Sunday's word and have culled my dictionary for a word that will spark your fancy and send you out and about looking for a picture to match it! Here's an explanation, the "rules", and word from previous Mad Minute Words:
The idea of Mad Minute Words is we present a strange (and/or lovely) word to you, and you draw from it as inspiration for your photo... to keep it acceptably mad, we're doing two words a week, one presented on Monday and another on Friday.
The word I've chosen for Sunday is: Equipoise
And here's the definition: n. 1) equality in distribution, as of weight or emotional forces; equilibrium. 2) a counter poise; a counterbalance.

Great word! I took a shot for the last Mad Minute...the one that meant "changing in lustre" but then I had a 365 meet up that day (well, for two days) and those pics took front row...but I love Mad Minute and this word sounds very challenging and inspirational!
@nadaa Congratulations Nada! I just did the blanket notification and certainly would see why something as big as the 365th photo would take center stage! But you never know- the two might blend!! I'm on my way to Michigan for the arrival of grandchild #5, so if my viewing is spotty, I'm sending my well wishes early. I'm hoping you'll stay on so we can meet up again. I had such a nice time! And there's still so much more for us to shoot together! Congratulations again!
@espyetta The mmw has been hard for me because the word is posted before the actual day. I keep forgetting to do them! lol I'd better not forget it this time! I'm on my way to Michigan so I might have to post this one early or late depending on how many examples I see in between now and Sunday as I'll be running after a rather rambunctious 2 year old for the next week. I wonder if two year olds have any equipoise?
@olivetreeann Congratulations on #5. Hope we get to see pictures! So far, I plan on staying on. I have learned so much and feel like I have to much more to learns. I would love to meet up again also when you get back.
Thanks all! It's been a bit crazy for me the last 48 hrs. A tire blew out on my way to MI and then my speedometer broke! But I made it and Micah is wonderful! As soon as I can I'll post a pic and look over the pictures for today. Hope you all had a great week end!
