Have you noticed how much stuff people have? I am not even talking about hoarders, just the regular person like me and what I think I need to survive. We are in process of moving onto our boat, while sitting in the work lot this morning there were moving trucks loading up someone's prized "storage" items.
I think I am going to focus some shots on stuff, and would love to see what others might see for a theme topic Earthly-possessions
Both my mom and my MIL border on being horders. Its nothing that would land them on a reality show but I've noticed that whenever we get home from a visit to either place we tend to go on a bit of a purge.
We went though our apartment last weekend and recycled or donated an entire car's worth of stuff, and you still can't even tell. But at least now we have an empty kitchen cabinet. Stuff is tough.
It's one reason we like backpacking so much, but then we have an entire closet full of just the 'stuff' it takes to get away from all our stuff!
If I had my way, I would have just about nothing! I don't like to keep lots of things just because I think I will need them in the future. My husband, on the other hand, keeps everything!! I am constantly throwing out bits of paper, old lighters, rubberbands, clothes from 20 years ago - you get the picture!
So what great pictures might come of this idea? You all are so good I bet there would be some fascinating photos, @lbluejaye8@archaeofrog@aponi@abirkill
@fullcircle we have just moved onto our boat too. I totally know what you mean. My Feb/ March calendars have some 'stuff' in them, as I was sorting through.
@lbluejaye8 Oh I hear you :)
I'm sure I'll find a use one day for that old calendar from 1980...NOT. My husband is a total pack rat and I am always having to purge his stash of I might be able to use that one day stuff. I will confess to having way too much stuff but at least I use it :)
