This is a reminder for Artist Challenge - Thomas Leuthard which will end on Monday 28th of April. So you still have a chance to join and tag your photos.
I just posted a message for Thomas Leuthard on flickr, I hope he will joyfully reply and agree to be the judge of this challenge and he will pick 5 best Leuthard-like photo for us to vote.
Firstly - I'd like to thank everyone who voted for my "Toy Truck" photo as the winner of the last challenge - I am overwhelmed with happiness that I went to find the boy in the photo to treat him some lunch.
The next Artist Challenge is ...... Thomas Leuthard. Let me introduce him:
Thomas Leuthard is a street photographer from Switzerland who travels to the big cities of this world to witness and document on the street. He works with a discrete Micro Four Third camera to capture the interesting essence of the ordinary life happening in public. For him, street photography is not only about catching the soul of strangers, it’s also about experiencing life in places around the world and to make new friends. One of his main goals is to bring together passionate photographers from all over the world, no matter of race, culture, color or any other attribute. (taken from his website (http://thomas.leuthard.photography/info/)
He has published free e-books on the tricks and tips of capturing candid photos. It pretty much sums up everything you need to know about street photography and it is available for downloads here: (http://thomas.leuthard.photography/ebooks/)
My favorites of his e-books which I consider pure genius are:
Street Faces

These are available for free download and will serve as your ready guide as you explore your streets for this challenge.

I will leave you this quote to spark some inspiration:
"It's neither our culture nor our race which
interconnects us. It's Street Photography."
