Say goodbye to Abstract April and hello to Patterns and Textures...

Hi everyone
I participated in the abstract april theme and really enjoyed it. Thanks to Emma @emblegemble for organising it...

I have been thinking about what my theme is for May, as I know that I need something to keep me motivated and taking photos. I loved the abstract idea, so I am thinking of doing Patterns and Textures for May, which are some of the elements of abstracts.

UPDATE:
We already have over 2 pages of photos for 2 days which is amazing. But so we don't loose all this fantastic work, perhaps we should have one tag per week:
THE TAGS
1st May to 7th May: pat-tex (Thanks for suggesting it Lyn @lynnilou)
8th May to 14th May: pat-tex2
15th May to 21st May: pat-tex3
22nd May to 28th May: pat-tex4
29th May to 31st May: pat-tex5

I think I will be thinking of something new. I guess today will determine it as I have no more time but I'll try to do some patterns and textures. Some of my abstracts already went the direction so I'll probably do something like mindless May. Anything that does not require thinking. LOL. Great idea for May!

Not sure if we paste them on here but I thought I would seeing as I took one. It was much nicer and a clearer pattern as a whole and with natural eye but in photos the pattern that i saw disappeared.

Hi all, it seems like we have a great response to this theme, whether you are dipping in or doing a full month.

So I was thinking, as we already have over 2 pages of photos under this tag in 2 days, we may need to change the tag weekly. I have put these and the dates at the top of this thread.

Also, as there will be so many photos, it may be nice if we do a weekly thread "my fav pattern/texture from the week and one that I fav'd", as a place where we can post and share some work. How does that sound?
