I'm baaaaaaa-aaaaack!!! Had a beyond-fabulous vacation in Europe and am now facing the challenge of sifting thru over 2500 photos along with fighting jet lag and mountains of laundry ;p
Anyway, jumping back into the groove, here are the dates and pairings for get pushed 110!
-- Saturday / Sunday, August 30th and 31st - find your partner and issue a challenge
-- Monday September 1 thru Sunday September 7 - take a picture (or pictures) in response to the challenge issued to you, and post it with the tag: Get-Pushed-110, and comment on the photos taken in response to your challenge
-- Monday, September 8th - the winner of week 109 will pick 5 finalists for a vote

How to play:
TO ISSUE A CHALLENGE
1. Find your partner from the list below and click on their name to get to their profile
2. Browse through the last couple of months of photos to get a feel for what they shoot and don't shoot etc.
3. Post an introduction on their last photo, and also issue the challenge you are setting.
RESPOND TO A CHALLENGE
4. You have until midnight next Sunday, to take and post your shot or shots.
5. When posting your shot WRITE A SHORT DESCRIPTION about
-- who challenged you,
-- what the challenge was,
-- what you found hard about it etc.
You really should do this because if nothing else, it helps the previous week's winner when they have to choose this week's finalists... besides, if someone is cruising the photos with a "get pushed" tag, they like to see what the challenge was when looking at your photo :)
6. Make sure to tag your shot for the challenge.... Get-Pushed-110
7. Tag your challenger in a COMMENT (not just your write-up). You MUST tag your partner in a separate comment... tagging them in your write-up of your photo is not sufficient as it will not result in them getting a notification...
ALSO
8. it is nice to visit the photo that was made in response to your challenge and offer some comments and maybe even some constructive criticism...
9. On the Monday after the challenge is over, the winner of the previous week will pick 5 finalists for a vote, this can be based purely on their fav photos, who they felt best met the challenge etc, etc.
@northy Hi, I am the winner of get pushed 109 so will be selecting the possible winners but I don't know how I get access to the entries! Can you please let me know how to do this so I can have a look at them all on Monday1st Sept ? Also how do I post up the the possible winners for voting. I will have a bit of a poke and hope to see if I can work it out but will be grateful if you can help me out.
@northy Hi hope you had a good holiday, I was away before you went away so was out of the get pushed challenge for a couple of weeks, could you please put me back in this week if space or the next week.
@happysnapper65 hi Linda... assuming you were playing for week 109 (i am guessing you won week 108?? week 109 is just finishing up today) then click on your get-pushed-109 tag and that will take you to all the entries...
once you've selected your top 5 for voting, start the voting thread under themes and competitions... then paste in the code for each photo you've chosen... the code is found by clicking on the three dots under the picture (beside the comment icon and star)... you just copy the code that's in the box and paste it into the voting thread...

@northy I am just starting a new job and am finding I am too busy to keep up with 365 at this point. I will have to bow out of the Get Pushed Challenge for awhile. I will let you know when I would like to be included again.

Hi Julie and Northy. Sorry to be getting to you so late. Had a very bad couple of weeks - car accident a couple of weeks ago, followed by a good old dose of flu and trying to work as well, plus a new computer and I can't find the software for my camera to load onto it. Since you already have another partner Julie that is fine by me.
Northy, could you please take me off the list? Just for a couple of weeks while I try and regain some normalcy. I'll let you know when to pop me back on.
My apologies to everyone that has been partnered with me lately for my inability to undertake challenges.

@linc@northy My apologies... had a bit of an unexpected situation this past week and I haven't had a chance to do much of anything other than deal with work and other issues. I probably can't participate in Get Pushed for the next couple weeks or so, so @northy if you can pair up my partner for this week with someone else, please do. If you can't, please let me know and I'll issue the person a challenge and do my best to accept one as well. But please take me off until I let you know I can return. Again, I apologize!
