Having started my white themed board this month, I am wondering if people doing this keep their photos square so when you look at the month at a glance you can see all the photo. I have not so far and some of the photos are cut off when you look at a glance at the whole month, does this matter?
Sometimes you only get the middle of say, an animal when you look at the month as a whole.
If you look at my spares and originals board this month you will see what I mean.
As this is a fifteen month project, I want it to look it's best.

I did a full year of monthly colors, last year. I don't think the crop should be the focus more than that color you are going for that day. Maximize the color in the photo and it won't matter. At the end of each month, I put a collage together and everything pulled together nicely and at the end of the year, I did another. I'd say it turned out quite nice. http://365project.org/dmortega/365-the-second
I've got one month and half to go after a year of one colour a month. For me it's about the colour, not so much the format. I did one colour month in square format though, just adding another challenge to the colour challenge. It's nice to do as you have to adapt composition. Looking back it's great to see you calender view, but I must say around August I got a bit 'bored' with colour. Saying that at the end of each month, it is regarding seeing them back in a collage.
