I am honored to be hosting this challenge as the winner of the WWYD124 Challenge. Thanks to everyone who participated and voted! Special thanks to David Tom who gave us such a great image to start with.
We are gonna have a fabulous WWYD125 Challenge! It really is a lot of fun. The rules for this challenge are simple:
- Save the starting image on your computer and edit it any way you'd like.
-Upload the photo you edit to one of your albums to count for entry.
- To be considered you MUST TAG your edited photo WWYD125 in the tag section when you upload it. (it's the only way I'll be able to find all the pics)
- To load your image into this discussion thread, go to your edited photo, click on the elipsis (. . .) copy the "share" code to the right, and paste it here. It’s not a requirement but we do strongly encourage it. Show off your work! Your pic might be the one that inspires someone else to try something new!
- Multiple entries are allowed.
- The challenge starts today 02.18.15 and ends midnight EST 02.25.15. That will give us seven days to get these great pics done. Finalists will be announced and voting will begin 02.26.15.
There are no editing rules. Edit the starting image any way you’d like. No editing software on your computer? No problem – go to a site like Picmonkey and upload/edit your pic for free. You won’t be able to use all the features but there are plenty you will be able to use.
Above all have fun. I hope to see a lot of entries! So many entries that I’ll be losing sleep at night … worried about having to whittle them down for the finals
The winner gets the love and adoration of his/her fellow 365ers and a packet of oyster crackers I found in my purse. Unless I've eaten them by the time a winner is chosen.
Questions? Concerns? Suggestions? Post them here and I or one of the many friendly people in the community will help you out.
Remember, WWYD stands for What Would You Do? that's what I want to see! Your ideas for editing the pic.
@cindyloo great edit Cindy! @homeschoolmom Thanks Lisa. .it was at a local metro park in the fall a few years ago @olivetreeann thanks Ann! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with :-)
Hi, everyone! I am new to 365Project; this is my first time participating in a challenge. I thought that it would be fun to add my "take" on the starting photo: I call this "Romanticized Sunset":
@rosiekerr they are both fabulous! @yeri87 great job Erica! @dsp2 wonderful! I'm honored that you chose this as your first challenge. Welcome!! @ounooi fantastic edit!
the oyster crackers are no longer available as a prize. I ate them. I'm a stress eater. .. already stressing about having to select finalists. These are all great edits.
@dsp2 when I showed my husband my edit he told me it should look like yours...he hadn't seen yours, but he thought a Clydesdale didn't fit in the setting...after 30 years he still doesn't get me! Nice edit! I will have to show him!
This scene was so beautiful, I thought it should be a post card!
my effort
really playing around with this...
The first, for "flash of red," in black and white, is here:
