Thank you to all that have participated in the" November '15 word list" word challenge. December is almost here is, so lets start nominating words.
As always, it could not be easier…
Simply nominate your word to this forum post and it may be included. You can nominate as many words as you like and if you see a word you like, just add it again... (The more times a word is mentioned, the greater the chance it will be used). I will then count up the number of times that a word has been added and the top 31 will be our list for the Dec15words.
Please make your suggestions for “December '15 Word List” between now (11/22) and 12 p.m. Sunday, November 29th, for them to be included. As always, if you have a word that you would like to see on a particular day, please nominate the day as well, for example: Shoes 6th (for Put on Your Own Shoes Day) or Chestnuts 14th (for Roast Chestnuts Day).
You can check out more dates here, for word ideas: December Holidays
There are nine bonus words for November and these will be; Birthday, Anniversary, Sagittarius, Capricorn (star signs), Turquoise, Blue Topaz, Tanzanite (birthstone) and Poinsettia, Narcissus (birth flower), so you do not need to suggest those.
You can find photos from previous challenges here:
I love Christmas too and second Debra on the holiday words but we should add a few for solstice and Hannukah too. Maybe add

We probably need to remember that half the world is in the late spring and summer in December. Perhaps:
vacation
summer fun
sunshine
picnic
camping
heat
@randystreat Not to worry, I try to always come up with something that will work for both hemispheres. So far the words are mostly holiday related, these holidays are not hemisphere specific.
