52 Week Challenge: Week 2/Jan 9th - Technical:SOOC

Ok folks, I know we've just had a thread on the 52 Week Challenge, but I've agreed to post a weekly reminder of the theme & date to save everyone having to refer back to the original discussion, and also for any comments and questions that might arise specific to the week's theme.

This week, beginning Monday January 9th is Week 2:
Technical: SOOC
Straight out of the Camera. No Photoshop. Shoot a compelling image and post it without edits. No cheating! (Be sure and save the image file for the end of the challenge!)

Hi there, I am really new to this group but would like to participate in this challenge if I could. I gather there is a weekly challenge to shoot for, in addition to daily images. Am I correct?
