What Would You Do #151 - WWYD151 Challenge

January 12th, 2017
WELCOME TO THE "WWYD151" CHALLENGE!!!!

I was chosen as the winner of the WWYD 150 Challenge. Thank you to all who voted for me and a big shout-out to all who entered.

The WWYD 151 Challenge starts Thursday, 12 Jan 2017 (or right now, depending on the part of the world you are in) and ends in one week, 19 Jan 2017 PST USA. I will then choose five finalists, post the selections and open the voting. Voting will close on Monday, 23 Jan 2017. The winner will be announced as soon I tally all the votes!
The rules of the challenge are simple:
- Save the starting image on your computer and edit it any way you'd like.
- Upload the photo you edit to one of your albums to count for entry.
- To be considered you MUST TAG your edited photo 'WWYD151' in the tag section when you upload it. (it's the only way I'll be able to find all the entries)
- To load your image into this discussion thread, go to your edited photo, click on the ellipsis (. . .) copy the "share" code to the right, and paste it here. It’s not a requirement but we do strongly encourage it. Show off your work! Take it to the moon and beyond!!
- Multiple entries are allowed.
- INSPIRATION : Have no idea on what you should do to this image? Search the past winners of the WWYD challenges or of the Artist Challenges, what do you see that you like, what would you differently? See how difficult you can make my selection of five finalist.

There are no editing rules. Edit the starting image any way you’d like. No editing software on your computer? No problem – go to a site like Picmonkey and upload/edit your pic for free. You won’t be able to use all the features but there are plenty you will be able to use.
The winner gets the admiration of your peers, and the chance to host the next WWYD Challenge! Questions? Concerns? Suggestions? Post them here and we'll figure it out!

From deep in the Southwest of Colorado, I give you this as a challenge. This is a scan from a slide originally taken in 1980:

Don’t forget to TAG your work WWYD151 AND POST in this THREAD!

@byrdlip I swear I recognize this. Is this Tincup, CO?

@ahleena Unless I could fine the original slide, all that I can say is that it was taken in 1980, Colorado. Would have had to been somewhere in route between Colorado Springs and Silverton/durango on the back roads. If you happen to find the exact location I would be interesting in seeing what the building look like today.

I have not been in that area since the early 90's. But Tincup would be west from Colorado Springs, somewhere in the tops in the second range. Way off the beaten path.
