** Thermometer- New Mundane Challenge**

March 14th, 2017
Thank to everyone who voted for my image and to Debbie for hosting.

Excuse me for my writing, the language is difficult for me. ( copy/paste from Debbie:-) I'm sorry for this)

I choose for the next challenge : Thermometer

You can think of a thermometer in the house, outside or for fever. Everthing is good when it's clear to see the temperature or that the temperature is important.

You can use any photographic technique you like to capture this everyday object. The main rule: there can be no question that the object of the challenge (in this case, thermometer) is the star!

You can enter as many times as you like, but your entry must be taken within the challenge time frame to be considered a finalist.

Please tag your entries: mundane-thermometer

@northy Oh yes, good ideas, you are thinking out of the box, thank you!

@ariekraaijeveld @dibzgreasley Hi. I hope you don't mind me contacting you. I am organizing the Abstract part of the Mundane Challenge. I am also quite new to this hobby. When I saw these two separate challenges I found it somewhat confusing as the wording to each seemed the same. I've done some online research and think I am now OK with the differences required in the entries. However, it appears to me that they could be more closely linked. The abstract section says that the same image cannot be entered in both sections. Do you think it would be OK to say that the same original entry in the Mundane section could be abstracted and then entered into the abstract section. It may give new people a challenge to try the next step?
If you could give me your opinion I would appreciate it.
Thank you
Rob Z

Yikes, what's this? It's an Ad!

Well, an announcement really! After much consultation with experienced 365ers a few exciting changes have been made to the Abstract Mundane challenge.
One interesting change is that entrants in the plain Mundane Challenge are now encouraged to use their original photo as a starting point, have some editing fun, and enter their modified (no longer so mundane!!) image in the Abstract Mundane Challenge.
The Abstract Mundane Challenge also finishes on 31st March.

For more ideas and info please check out the Abstract Mundane Challenge.

Cheers Rob Z

Hmmm. nobody posting on the thread. Shame...it keeps it up in the most popular so more people know about it.
