First, I just wanna say that I really enjoyed the last
Macro Challenge about Hands. I feel like there's just
million ways how you can photograph your own hands.
And I thank Lynn (@rumpelstiltskin) for hosting the last challenge.
Also wanna thank you all the people who joined.
So for this new macro challenge, I am choosing KEY
as the the theme and this will run from
1.
a small piece of shaped metal with incisions cut to fit the wards of a particular lock, and that is inserted into a lock and turned to open or close it.
a small, shaped metal implement for operating a switch in the form of a lock, especially one operating the ignition of a motor vehicle.
short for key card.
an instrument for grasping and turning a screw, peg, or nut, especially one for winding a clock or turning a valve.
a pin, bolt, or wedge inserted between other pieces, or fitting into a hole or space designed for it, so as to lock parts together.
2.
each of several buttons on a panel for operating a computer, typewriter, or telephone.
@sudweeks thanks for the warning and letting us know on this info. I did forget that. Good thing that the key I used was from an old knob and no more use.
But depending on your lock, it might be easier for someone to just pick it than try to make a copy of it from a photo.
To be safe, I'd use those keys that you don't know what they go to anymore, but you're too afraid to throw out.
