1) Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/main_Page and clink on the link for "Random Article" on the top left side of the page. The first random article you get is the name of your musician(s) or band.
2) Next go to the http://www.quotationspage.com and click on "Random Quotes" from the left menu. Go down to the bottom of the page. The last 4 to 6 words of the very last quote is the title of your album.
3) Then find or take a photo that fits your artist and and your album title. You are allowed to edit to your heart's content on this challenge so go for it! You can use any photo processing program of your choice, but the photo(s) must be yours. It does not have to be taken during the time frame of the challenge. This gives you a chance to look through your archives for a suitable shot.
Remember, albums are square, so use a square crop!
4) You can post more than one entry, with the same quote/band, or different.
6) You are encouraged (but not required) to post your album cover(s) in this discussion thread. This helps keep the discussion visible. To do so, click on the three dots on the bottom right of your post and then copy and paste the embed code on to the comment box below. Your picture will appear in the discussion once you click on "post comment".
7) The challenge starts 13 NOvember and NOW runs until 3 December . I will select the finalists and post them for voting shortly thereafter. The winner will have the honor of hosting the next album cover challenge.
I'm going to give this a try but not promising anything! Artist is Brian Young:
Brian Young (born July 8, 1977) is an American football coach and former player defensive tackle who is a defensive coach for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). Young played college football for the University of Texas at El Paso, and professionally for the St. Louis Rams and New Orleans Saints of the NFL.
Quote:
Perhaps too much of everything is as bad as too little. Edna Ferber (1887 - 1968)
Haven't done one for ages and need some inspiration for next week.
Witternesse (Witternesse is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region of France.)
Humanity has advanced, when it has advanced, not because it has been sober, responsible, and cautious, but because it has been playful, rebellious, and immature.
Band name: Choose Up Sides
Album title: "and to long life".
The photo is one i took many years ago with a crummy, little camera and on a moving train. Quality isn't great, but I've always loved it anyway. And who else could Choose Up Sides be than these three?
Full quote: One must not lose desires. They are mighty stimulants to creativeness, to love, and to long life. (Alexander A. Bogomoletz)
According to Wikipedia, Choose Up Sides "was a children's television game show that aired on NBC Saturday mornings from January 7 to March 31, 1956. It was hosted by Gene Rayburn and announced by Don Pardo and produced by Goodson-Todman Productions."
Another one...
Artist: Hutcheson
Title: Lost When Raking Leaves
from quote: "Parents are often so busy with the physical rearing of children that they miss the glory of parenthood, just as the grandeur of the trees is lost when raking leaves." --Marcelene Cox
Last one, I swear!
Artist: Walter F. Meserve
Title: I Got To Respect
I took this picture of my not-yet-husband in 2006. We'd met only a few months earlier.
I figured a guy with a name like Walter F. Meserve probably took himself very seriously. I'm guessing he made this album in 1967-68? A debut, perhaps? Or may it was the ill-fated follow-up to the debut.
Random quote used for title (last four words): "Everything we do really is just a little marker on the long road to death. And sometimes that's overwhelmingly depressing to me, and sometimes it makes me feel kinship and forgiveness. We've all got the same ending to the story. The way we make that story more elaborate, I got to respect."

Another week would be nice.
