Winner of Composite # 2 - Moon

March 14th, 2018
Thanks to all of those who voted for the Moon Composite competition. It was a count back vote to select the winner between number 1 and number 3, but @melmarie3 only just came out in front with her wonderful image.

It's over to you now to host the next Composite challenge. Thanks once again to all of you who participated and voted.

@deborah63 thanks so much to everyone that voted for me! I really appreciate it and thought everyone's photos were great!
This might sound ridiculous but how do I host a challenge? Never did this before?

I missed the voting on this one, but this is amazing - congrats!

Hi again Mel...in case you don’t have an answer yet to your question, I can get you started. You get to choose the new subject for the next Composite challenge. When you are ready, under the “Discuss” tab go to “themes and competitions” and there is a button for “new topic”. Post your info on the new topic you have selected, pick a start and end date for the challenge, and a tag for people to use. At the end of the challenge, you pick 5 or so finalists and post them for people to vote on. I can help more if needed. Once again, congrats on your wonderful photo!

@amyk My problem is I have no idea how to make a tag! thanks so much for answering cause I got as far as starting the challenge but the tag part I can't figure out. I even tried searching how and it doesn't show :( thanks again

@melmarie3 the tag is for people to add to their photo so the entries can be found all together. An appropriate tag for this would be composite3 as the last one was composite2. Just include the info in your challenge write up. Then when you search under the Browse heading; select “by tag”. On the next screen, enter composite3 in the box and you will see all of the entries. Don’t know if I’m explaining this clearly. Let me know if this helps. :)

Yes but how do you get a tag to work? I don't know how to get it to link? if that makes sense
March 18th, 2018
@melmarie3 you just decide what the tag is, so people know what to use. When they add it to a photo they are posting it will work; you don’t need to do anything else.
