I took this as my Tuesday contribution to The Darkroom a collaboration of photographers with a mixture of skills and preferred genres. I was so knocked out that it worked exactly as I hoped. Camera was hand held, the black background card balanced and also hand held (who needs a tripod!?) and apart from a tiny crop is SOOC.

This was taken late in the evening (for me) when I really was not into it. I half considered not taking a shot - but I also knew that I would slide into old, lazy habits if I did not.
Shadow was so cooperative, and I'm glad I did, Have not missed a day since!
