While there is no rule stating that we cannot use themes previously done, I looked long and hard to find a new subject and found that “Natural Framing” is not on this exhaustive list.
Using a foreground element to create a frame within the picture is one of the oldest tricks of the trade for artists and photographers. The framing element not only isolates and emphasizes a subject, but it adds a feeling of depth to a photograph. It can also eliminate distracting details or create an interesting foreground where none existed before.
