The current black & white theme will be Nature in Macro.
I like the idea of those two aspects combining in mono. I read somewhere that ‘by stripping out colour, our attention is drawn to the fascinating, almost alien shapes that make up the world of the very small.’
Nature can mean anywhere out in the open, in a forest on a beach, in your garden. And the subject can be wildlife, insects, plant life or anything we see in our natural world, but up close. Mono is all about a play on light and shadow which accentuates the subject.
