It's got to be this one, this week. Normally a shy, secretive bird, very hard to even catch a glimpse of, this Water Rail came out into the open long enough to get a few shots.
Yesterday's Photo. I'm trying to learn manual mode (still, been trying to learn that for a LONG time now), focusing thru the viewfinder and using a lens
hood and I think this shot came out pretty well with all of those elements.
Love the color in this one. Sometimes I take a picture and when I look at it later on, I can't believe that I actually took it. This was one of those times.
I think this one from my week of working with the wide angle lens. Since this shot I've figured out how to correct for that distortion, but in this case I like it like it is.
My favorite photo from this past week is one that I took of a pansy on March 27. This is the first photo that I have ever posted that doesn't have any post-processing ...I am improving to be able to like one straight out of my camera!
I was lucky to run into someone who knew about hummingbirds on a hike last weekend. He pointed out this amazing nest. I just love how she (he?) is keeping an eye on the world in this shot.
I'm always so late for this thread!! I liked this one because either he jumps higher every year or I make him look like he's jumping higher. Either way its not bad for an 8 year old!
I like this because I'd heard of the twisted spire in Chesterfield, but never seen it until last weekend - plus it came out well considering taken from the back of a motorbike stopped at traffic lights
Has to be this timelapse I created.........there were 1490+ photos creating this 49 second video. The photo won't post here, but here is the link to my page to view it :) http://365project.org/pixiemac/365/2015-03-26
I picked this one because it made it to the trending page (only the second time for me). And it made it to the popular page and that is the first time for me.
... but I also really like the raindrops on plastic
I selected this one because it is one of my favourite places......
hood and I think this shot came out pretty well with all of those elements.

This meal looks as good as it tasted....dreadful.
