Technique Challenge 44

Firstly, thank you to everyone who voted for my photo in last week's Technique Challenge, Low Key Portraits.
It is the first time I've won a challenge and against such stiff competition, I am really humbled.

Obviously, this is the first time I'm hosting a challenge, so if there's something I've omitted or gotten horribly wrong, please let me know.

I've chosen Kinetic Photography, or Camera Tossing, as the technique for this week.
For those of you that aren't familiar with this technique, it basically involves setting your camera to a shutter speed of about 1" and either spinning your camera from it's strap, shaking it or,for the more daring, tossing your camera up in the air in the hopes of catching light trails that make a pleasant or interesting shape.

Here are some tutorials and examples and if anyone has any experience or has any input, by all means, share it below.

The challenge will run from today, 25 August until Wednesday 2 September (midnight CAT).
All photos need to be taken within this timeframe.

Please tag your photos with technique44

Have fun!

@christina_mcm yes, tag as many as you like, as long as they're taken within the time frame.

Wow sounds like a fun challenge - my first reaction was oh no - I need to protect my camera - but after I saw the links it seems more intriguing
